Science Week is an annual festival of science that takes place each year. This celebration aims to increase the understanding and appreciation of science, innovation, engineering, and technology and their role in maintaining and improving our society, economy, and environment among students. During science week, the two activities gave our students of grade 7 & 8 a fun-filled experience and inspired them. The first activity was Roleplay, wherein students dressed up as any prominent scientist and shared a few pointers revealing their valuable contribution to science. The second activity was Rocket Making, wherein students did this fun-filled activity in their online science class, under the guidance of their Science Teacher, by using materials like colourful card sheets, straws, rubber bands, cello tape, thread, balloon, and fevicol. These activities provided an opportunity to acknowledge the contributions of eminent scientists’ to the world of knowledge. This also aims to encourage an interest in science pursuits among the students and to encourage these younger people to become fascinated by the world we live in.
