In the TBL period, Grade 3 Students weaved a mat using two different color papers. Students studied the theme 'Textile' and learned about different types of fibers and fabrics. Weaving is a textile production method in which two distinct sets of yarns or threads are interlaced at right angles to form a fabric or cloth. Students understood the process involved by direct experience of activity in the guidance of the teacher. Weaving not only promotes fine motor skills but helps the young minds learn how to create patterns and work through problems they may encounter while weaving. It shows a beautiful way for students to express themselves artistically. It was a fun-filled activity, which made the theme more interesting.
