"A child's childhood is for learning, don't use their childhood for earning."
The International Labour Organization (ILO) launched the World Day Against Child Labour in 2002 to focus attention on the global extent of child labour and the action and efforts needed to eliminate it. Each year on 12 June, this day is observed to eliminate child labour from society. To raise awareness on World Day against Child Labour the students of Grade 2 conducted an assembly, videos were shown to make them understand that the students are future generations. It is their responsibility to raise hands against child labour and contribute to its eradication. Grade 5 students participated in 'Poster Making Activity, in which they highlighted the reasons for child labour and its effects on childhood. Grade 10 students prepared a PowerPoint presentation and presented the same. They were sensitized about Child Labour and why it needs to be stopped.
