“The first happiness of the child is to know that he is loved.”
Children’s day is celebrated across India to increase awareness of the rights, care, and education of the children. It is celebrated on 14th November every year as a tribute to the birthday of India’s First Prime Minister, Jawahar Lal Nehru, lovingly known as Chacha Nehru.
A day marking childhood was celebrated with fun and frolic at Presidium through a series of online activities by the students and teachers. The highlight of the same was a skit, role play, dance, craftwork, jam sessions, dance party, Powerpoint presentations, paying tribute to Chachaji through instrumental music, etc. The School Heads and teachers also touched the hearts of our future leaders and tiny tots by singing songs Dil hai Chota sa, Bum Bum Bole and resonated with immense joy, enthusiasm, and high spirits. We truly believe that every child is a different kind of flower that blooms to make this world a beautiful garden.
