On the occasion of Road Safety week - Presidium teachers made an attempt to create awareness by sensitizing students of grades 4 to 7 towards the importance of safety while driving and walking on the roads. We had activities where the students discussed issues of rash driving, drunken driving, road rage with a special mention about minor driving. They also discussed the immediate causes and traumatic effects of impulsive behavior of the people on roads through various presentations. Students were sensitized to the issue of road safety to make them responsible road users. To mark the significance of the week – students learned from some thoughtful presentations, made posters & took a pledge to abide by the road safety rules, and at the same time spread awareness across to make roads safer.
