STUDENTS ENHANCE THEIR MATHEMATICAL KNOWLEDGE WITH MATHS WEEK

To lay a strong foundation of Mathematics among the Preschoolers, the school organized Maths Week for the students. In India, the National Mathematics Day is observed on December 22 every year. It is celebrated to honor the birth anniversary of the famous Mathematician Sir Srinivasa Ramanujan. He was a world-famous Mathematician who made remarkable contributions in different fields and branches of the subject of Mathematics. To create awareness and to celebrate this day in the school, the following activities were conducted across all grades. Recapitulation of different topics like Time, Multiplication, and Division with the help of related live worksheets, Identify and create a pattern, Shapes exploration, Skip and learn, Making the necklace using beads in the ratio of 3:2, Counting by Grouping, and many more activities. Each day brought another plethora of activities which were fun-filled as well as challenging.
