One of the most popular festivals in India, Diwali signifies the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance and hope over despair. To rejoice this festival that brings joy and wealth with it, the tiny grade 1 children of Presidium Indirapuram set the stage with spectacular presentation at a special assembly. Witnessing the little children dressed in beautiful and colourful clothes was really an amazing experience for all. After doing aarti with devotion, these young Presidians enlightened their fellow friends about the importance of this festival and also, why and how this festival is celebrated? These children beautifully depicted the story of Lord Rama’s return to Ajodhya after 14 years of exile, which was indeed a proud moment for the teachers to see their little students leading the stage with such confidence. The splendid dance performance on the song 'happy Diwali' was the highlight of the show. Last, but not the least, the young children concluded the assembly with a very beautiful message for their friends - 'no crackers, let’s celebrate a pollution-free Diwali'.
