UNICEF, also known as the United Nations Children's Emergency Fund, is celebrated worldwide every year on 11th December to reimagine a better future for every child. UNICEF works in over 190 countries and territories to save children's lives, to defend their rights, and to help them fulfill their potential, from early childhood through adolescence. Students from grade 4th to 8th celebrated UNICEF DAY together to fight against the COVID -19 crises. Students not only joined together in fundraising for the vulnerable children, but they also took the initiative of donating necessities like masks, sanitizer, hand wash, etc. Students wrote slogans/ poems / made posters on Rights of every child seeking Safe Shelter/ Proper Nutrition/ Child Protection from Disasters and Conflicts/ Equality/Education/ Social Inclusion. These activities not only created awareness about the role of UNICEF in societies worldwide but at the same time, students also realized how children's rights are violated in different parts of the world and how they can be protected and addressed.
