Lohri is an extremely popular festival celebrated in the north of India. It is a harvest festival that also marks the end of the chilling winter cold. The little Presidians presented an extravagant show of colour and festivity on the occasion of Lohri. The virtual celebration enlightened everyone about the legend behind Lohri, the way it is celebrated in North India, and its significance. The symbolic bonfire was shown and the distribution of prasad was also portrayed. They also enjoyed the related art activity and dazzled everyone with their beautiful performances of bhangra and Giddha on traditional folk songs of Punjab. The assembly spread the euphoria of Lohri among all the teachers, students, and parents.
