PRESIDIANS EXPERIENCE PEACE AND SERENITY ON BUDDHA PURNIMA

With great enthusiasm and frivolity the students of grade 4 celebrated Buddha Purnima, the most sacred festival of Buddhists and is celebrated in remembrance of Lord Buddha. The students were enlightened with his key principles known as noble truths and the eight fold path of life through a small skit. Thereafter, a serene and pious atmosphere was created through the chanting of the mantra 'Buddham Sarnam Gachhami' which calmed the senses and energized everyone.

LEARNING THE OFFICIAL LANGUAGE-HINDI THROUGH FUN ACTIVITIES

Our educational system focuses on developing knowledge, skills, and creative talents. We at Presidium aim at setting goals providing enrichment activities, to balance the emphasis of professional abilities. We recently conducted an enrichment activity for teaching our students Hindi language in an interesting manner. Rather than learning a particular lesson, students should learnt from the entire situation and through performing activities. They indulged in Rotating the wheel activity and Jod tod ka khel wherein they framed words in Hindi. Presidians are taught to both read and write Hindi, at a very tender age, in grade Prep. They are taught various akshars and the usage of matras in different cluster, through which they are able to read and write the language at a very early age.

PRESIDIANS SPREAD HAPPINESS AT SPARSH SPECIAL SCHOOL

It was a bright, sunny morning when students of Grade 6 went to Sparsh Special School. The students witnessed a PPT on the activities that Sparsh undertook. After that, the children were divided into groups and taken to the classrooms. It was such a pleasant sight to see all the children interact the special students.They also tried their hands on candle making (which they were able to carry back home). They distributed gifts which included books, stationery items, chocolates and cakes as a token of love. Finally, everyone gathered downstairs for a photo session and bid adieu to Sparsh. This was truly an enriching experience for each one of us. We would wholeheartedly like to thank our Chairperson, Mrs. Sudha Gupta for her great initiative and untiring efforts.

TBL ENRICHMENT ACTIVITY: LEARNING ABOUT COLOURS IN AN EXCITING WAY!

Colours are everywhere and it is a wonderful experience for children to see how colours are different from each other. Bunnies are perfect for matching the same colours and providing a fun and motivating way to play and learn with colours while developing fine motor skills. We conducted an enrichment activity with bunnies of different different colours for our little Presidians wherein they learnt about different colors in a fun and interesting way. This activity developed an interest in the kids to explore more about the variety of colours.

MOTHER’S DAY: THE PERFECT DAY TO THANK OUR MOTHERS!

Mother's Day, the day to celebrate and show gratitude to our guardian angel. Little Presidian's took the stage to showcase this love in the form of spectacular performances at the Mother's Day assembly conducted by the students of Grade Nursery. The assembly started with the beautiful thought “God could not be everywhere, therefore he created mothers.” Students put up dazzling performances through dance and theatrical acts which depicted the unconditional love of mothers. They expressed themselves and presented their beautiful thoughts on love for mothers on this lovely day. The event concluded with the thought that Mother’s Day is a great opportunity to say thanks for all the wonderful things our mothers do for us. This celebration was to make everyone understand the unconditional love and support we get from our mothers.

CONGRATULATIONS STUDENTS FOR BRILLIANT 10TH BOARD RESULTS

Someone has very aptly said that “Opportunities don't happen. You create them." That has been rightly proved by our young Presidians of Grade 10 with their stellar performance in the CBSE Board Examination. This year’s result has set a new paradigm in the history of Presidium Indirapuram as students performed exceedingly well. We have the Topper Swastik Garg with a whopping aggregate of 98.8%. Further we have 45 students (23.68%) who have secured 90% and above in the aggregate. Moreover, we have 25 Perfect 100 in all the subjects. Furthermore, we have 134(70.5%) of students securing 75% and above. Definitely our students have given us a reason to be proud of them. Heartiest Congratulations to all the Students, their Parents and dedicated staff members.

PRESIDIUM MOVES A STEP AHEAD WITH “SWACHH BHARAT ABHIYAN”

Presidium Peer Educators along with the School Counselor took part in the event, "Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, Rural areas on Menstrual Hygiene for Women" organized under the guidance of District Magistrate of Ghaziabad, Ritu Maheshwari. Presidium students addressed approximately 500 female audience to create awareness. The school was well appreciated for taking initiative and working on the project religiously since last few months.

ENHANCING LINGUISTIC SKILLS WITH RHYME RECITATION COMPETITION

Music is the language of the universe and for a child, it’s the rhyme. Rhymes are an integral part of the childhood of every person. The thoughts and feelings that goes into a rhyme make it even more joyful. To boost up the recitation skills of our little Presidian's, a rhyme competition was held. The evaluation criteria was audibility, clarity, selection of rhyme, and confidence of the child. The children were free to choose any topic for their recitation. With this rhyme competition children were able to improve their recalling and memorization skills and it even enhanced their language learning.

RABINDRANATH TAGORE JAYANTI: SALUTING THE EPITOME OF LITERATURE

One of the greatest epitome in the world of literature, Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore - The Noble laureate, needs no introduction. He was a great poet, novelist, dramatist, painter, a true genius in real sense. So, to mark the birth anniversary of Gurudev and to inspire our young generation, a special assembly was conducted by students of Grade 7. The assembly began with homage being paid to the Gurudev by offering flower petals and remembering him by listening to Rabindra Vandana. This was followed by a short skit where our young Presidians shared thoughts and poem written by Gurudev. The assembly ended with a captivating dance performance on the song ‘Ekla chalo re’ which left the audience enthralled and further motivated the children to follow the path shown by Gurudev.

CHAIRPERSON LAUDS EFFORTS OF MENTORS IN BRINGING OUT ACE RESULTS

With great zest and mirth Presidium Indirapuram celebrated the glorious 100% result achieved by the conscientious students of Grade XII batch 2018-2019. The combined efforts of the dedicated teachers coupled with the sincerity of the students was applauded by the Chairperson Mrs. Sudha Gupta Ma’am. A celebratory Cake Cutting Ceremony was presided by a merry photo session. The teachers were encouraged and appreciated for their relentless efforts to bring the best out of each Presidian. Yet again the batch of Grade 12 has brought glory to the school and made everyone proud!
