Presidium Indirapuram bid adieu to the batch of 2018-19 with a special farewell ceremony. ’Bon Voyage’ saw an amalgam of enthralling young Presidians and an ever charming gamut of memories that they carved throughout their school life. The event began with a melodious performance by the student band that lifted everyone’s mood. The gathering was addressed by the honourable chairperson Mrs. Sudha Gupta. Each  student felt nostalgic and was left teary eyed. Students of grade 11 presented electrifying musical performances followed by the dance drama which was indeed ,an emotional delight. The mesmerising and thrilling performances left the senior students spellbound. A treat to watch, the fashion show was the highlight of the day. The young Presidians walked the ramp with elegance and poise. They showcased their wit and talent to win various prestigious titles. The event culminated with the most awaited announcement of the day, Mr. Presidium and Ms. Presidium titles ,which was bestowed upon Hari Thukral and Mehak respectively. The event came to end with a fun filled DJ session which made everyone delve in the rhythm of heart rendering beats.

It is said that “Great thoughts converted to practice will become great accomplishments”. Keeping this in mind, a puppet making competition was organised for the students of grades 4-5 of Presidium Indirapuram where in they made innovative and attractive puppets by using waste material. The aim of this competition was to develop the creative talent of the students, and give wings to their ideas. Students enthusiastically participated in the competition and came up with various kinds of puppets like sock puppets, stick puppets and cloth puppets, using their creativity with the recycled materials like colour paper, ice cream sticks, gloves, waste cloth material, newspapers etc. It was an immense pleasure to see the blooming stars spreading their light around.

Itself.’ Folk dancing is a wonderful way to introduce young children to the world’s rich diversity and enable them to enjoy the art of dance, music and rhythm. It also provides opportunities for socialization and creates room for self - expression. With this thought and to showcase the hidden talents of Presidians Presidium Indirapuram organized an Inter class dance competition for the students of grade 2.  The attractive costumes, fluid dance movements, and fascinating props made it tough for the judges to decide the winner. Students’ efforts and initiative were appreciated by one and all. 

The patriotic fervor is at its peak on occasions like Republic Day. With an aim to keep up with this spirit of patriotism, Presidium Indirapuram celebrated this day with grandeur and solemnity. The celebrations began with a zestful march past and flag hoisting followed by the national anthem. Sudha Ma’am motivated the young leaders of tomorrow to keep up with the spirit of the Republic and take India to the path of success and prosperity with their hard work and perseverance. The celebrations of the 70th Republic Day was spectacular and beautifully rendered the spirit of pride and wisdom amongst the Presidians.

Presidium Indirapuram hosted the much awaited Christmas Carnival on the 22nd and 23rd December. The fun filled event offered plethora of activities for children and their parents. Live shows like jam sessions and fancy dress competition won everybody’s hearts. The highlight of the Carnival were the much sought after food and purchasing stalls that had something for everyone. The live jam session and the photography booth added spark to the event. It was a wonderful celebration of love and festivity.

“The book of nature is written in the language of Mathematic” – Galileo

Mathematics is an integral part of our lives. It is the cradle of all creations, without which  the world cannot move an inch. With an aim to make mathematics real and meaningful, ‘Maths Week’ was recently celebrated at Presidium Indirapuram. The theme of the week was - ‘Winter Wonderland – Experiencing Math’. Students enjoyed the spectacular display of  intriguing models, activities, puzzles and games that beautifully revealed  the confidence of our young Presidians. 

Ushering in the Christmas mood, students of grade Nursery presented a special assembly on Christmas, ‘Joy To The World’. Teachers joined in the joyous occasion with a special performance singing the Christmas carol harmoniously. The soul of Christmas was captured by a delightful enactment of, ‘The Story of Bethlehem’, recounting the hardships faced by Joseph and Mary to find a safe place for the birth of Jesus Christ. This was followed by a wonderful dance performance to the tunes of  ‘Jingle Bells’. The echoes of Santa’s sleigh and reindeers rang into everyone’s heart as everybody sang Christmas Carols. The assembly ended on the note that Christmas is not just about Santa, Gifts, a Feast, Carnival and Decorations rather it’s about the everlasting values of sharing and compassion for each other.

Learning the skill of Taekwondo is one thing but putting it to test is like taking martial arts out of the books and into the real life. A Taekwondo competition pursues the development and integration of fitness, technique, and strategy as well as a sense of humility and sportsmanship. The application of skills through competition is what gives taekwondo its unique identity. Our young Taekwondo masters recently participated in the 30th Delhi State I.T.F Taekwondo Championship held at Thyagraj Stadium, INA, New Delhi and put their best foot forward. They not only showcased immense perseverance and technique but also cheered for their competitors during all the rounds. It was a true reflection of their sportsmen spirit. They were awarded with medals and certificates at the prize distribution ceremony. We are very proud of our champs. 

On 14th December 2018, Presidium Indirapuram hosted the most awaited ceremony of the year, Citation 2018. With great zeal and enthusiasm the students were presented with spectacular citations. Each line was a reflection of the bright persona possessed by all the proud Presidians. The grand ceremony was graced by the Chairperson, Mrs. Sudha Gupta who was overwhelmed by the touching experiences that the students shared. She addressed the gathering and extended her blessings to the outgoing batch. The diyas lighted by each grade 12 student lit the logo of Presidium, further uplifting the mood of the celebrations. The ceremony culminated with a touching vote of thanks presented by the head boy and the head girl who thanked the teachers for their relentless support and guidance. Indeed, Citation Ceremony 2018 saw a gamut of young leaders ready to lead and sore high towards a promising future.
