The most important festival for the millions of devotees of Lord Shiva, Mahashivratri has been accorded lot of significance in Hindu mythology. To make our students aware of the meaning and importance of the festival, a special assembly was recently organised at Presidium, Indirapuram. The assembly started with the Maha Mrityunjay Mantra recited, post which, the marriage ceremony of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati was beautifully showcased by students dressed up as little Parvatis and Lord Shivas. After this, another captivating dance performance was done by the children and it was really overwhelming to see them performing Shiv Tandav to express their extreme happiness on the occasion. The whole assembly was in sync with the overall objective of making the young souls aware of the festival and its significance.

Science aims to stimulate our natural curiosity in finding out why things happen in a way we do and helps to acquire knowledge, conceptual understanding and skills to solve problems to make informed decisions in scientific contexts. The National Science week recently held at Presidium, Indirapuram involved our grade 5 students showcase an exemplary exhibition of a vast array of models and projects –which gave a unique opportunity to them to explore the power of Science and get a hands on experience. Through their dynamism, they also understood the interdependence between science & society.

Farewells always leave you teary eyed, for, not only do they remind you of the inevitable parting but are also a constant reminder of the effervescence of time. With a plethora of emotions brimming in the heart of Presidium Indirapuram, we recently organised a farewell party to bid adieu to the outgoing batch of 2017-18. The day was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends & teachers and to reminisce joyous moments. The theme for the party was ‘Vintage’ and our Class XII students set the stage on fire by showcasing great style through a ramp walk and other performances!

Celebrated to worship Goddess Saraswati, the symbol of knowledge and wisdom, Basant Panchami is an occasion, which marks the onset of the spring season. To rejoice this auspicious occasion with great fervour and enthusiasm, a special assembly was conducted for our grade prep students at Presidium, Indirapuram. The celebrations commenced with the Saraswati Vandana, invoking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati for seeking knowledge and a prosperous life by our little Presidians, who came adorably dressed in yellow clothes and offered yellow coloured flowers to the Goddess. This was followed by a splendid dance performance, which added myriad colours to the various aspects of the festivals. A presentation was given to children that their books are a form of blessings of ‘Maa Saraswati’, repositories of wisdom and knowledge. Beautiful pieces of art related to Basant Panchami were decorated on the boards, whereas a floral rangoli with yellow and orange coloured flowers signified the brilliance of nature and the vibrancy of life. The assembly concluded with an inspirational song which was sung by the staff and students!

Republic Day is a grand event in our country. It is celebrated every year with great enthusiasm on 26th of January to honour the Constitution of India. The 69th Republic Day was celebrated by the staff and students of Presidium Indirapuram with sheer patriotism. The students paid tribute to all the great Indian leaders like Mahatma Gandhi and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. All the performances mesmerized the audience and inspired all inclusive of the students to help create a better nation through collective efforts.

As our dearest senior students are all set to step on another journey, we recently organized a Citation Ceremony for them with great avidity and fervour. To acknowledge the exceptional time spent by our outgoing batch of students in the school, our dear Sudha Ma'am, Chairperson of Presidium, showered her choicest blessings and words of encouragement on them. She bid them adieu with wishes of success for their bright future, which filled their hearts with a sense of recognition. Every eye was filled with tears of pride and every heart prayed for them as they tossed their graduation caps in the air with the ethos of strong will to achieve big in life!
