We have no special needs children, just children with special needs!
Children of Presidium Indirapuram recently visited their special friends at NGO Sparsh to shower them with their signature love, compassion and respect. To sensitize the Presidians towards the special needs of these children and also towards the children of Sparsh's various projects like Udaan and Shakti, an interactive PPT was shown to them by a Sparsh representative. To relish an experience full of learning and sharing, they were also taken to the classroom, where they saw underprivileged students studying quietly.
The young leaders were amazed to see the exquisite products made by the Sparsh children like room fresheners, colours, candles, Rakhis and aroma oils. They also got a chance to visit the vocational and handloom units where the differently-abled children were learning to make various products like mopes that would enable them to be independent and live a life of dignity. It was a moment of bliss for the Sparsh students as the Presidians tied beautiful Rakhis on their hands. The highlight of the visit was when the 'leaders of tomorrow' were given a chance to prepare colourful candles on their own and take them back as a token of love and remembrance from Sparsh.
